Pet 24 has succeeded in reuniting over 46,000 pets with their happy owners over the last 10 years.
Buster was wearing an ordinary dog tag with my mobile number on it, he was microchipped and he’d never strayed before in the 7 years we’d had him. We never discovered why he suddenly disappeared, but we think the postman may have left the gate open. Our big problem was that the mobile number on his tag had no signal where we were frantically searching for him.
The kind woman who found Buster tried calling us to no avail. She even looked for a vet in case his chip could be scanned, but they were all closed. It took 4 hours of searching and worrying before we were able to pick up her voice message and recover Buster. We felt that there must be a better way to help lost pets, and through our harrowing experience with Buster came the inspiration for Pet 24.
